This year, instead of relying on pre-made curriculum, we created our own Reformation Day learning resources for our 4th grade twin boys — and it turned into one of our favorite homeschool moments of the fall.

We wanted something that felt meaningful, age-appropriate, and engaging without being overwhelming. The result was a small, well-rounded set of printables that allowed us to celebrate Reformation Day while still covering core subjects.

Our Reformation Day mini pack included:

• Math worksheets with themed word problems and skill practice
• History pages introducing the Reformation, key figures, and why it mattered
• Reading comprehension passages written at a 4th-grade level
• Vocabulary worksheets with important Reformation terms
• Simple coloring pages to reinforce concepts and give hands a creative break

It was a great reminder that learning doesn’t have to pause for holidays — and that some of the most meaningful lessons come from intentionally tying faith, history, and academics together.
